Who we are
Dacotrans de Centroamérica GUATEMALA was founded in 1969 by Dacotrans Grosskopf GMBH & CO KG, a German company with headquarters in the city of Düsseldorf. Dacotrans has established fifty branch offices worldwide –among them Guatemala- with the purpose of providing better service and conditions in international freight forwarding by air, sea and
land.
The growth in consolidated cargo by air and sea from different European countries lead Dacotrans into other markets. Today we provide as well consolidated cargo and other services from the United States, Central and South America and the Far East. We are proud to be pioneers of professional transport services from industry and commerce in Guatemala and Central
America.
As IATA agency, Dacotrans plays an important role in the export of general cargo and non traditional products such as fruit and vegetables. From our air cargo offices strategically located in the cargo building at La Aurora Airport in Guatemala City, we conduct all required operations and handle ocean and road cargo as
well.
Our staff has been trained with the most efficient and innovating concepts in the field of international transport in order to meet all of our customers´
needs.
